Monotipia is an artistic technique which is perfect to realize unique works of art. Thanks to the acrylic colour drawing up with a roll on the plate’s surface, in this specific case it is a “gelly plate”, and using so many different materials, the artist gets characteristic and unique printings with a nice final matter effect. It’s a printing process, characterized by the overlap of several printing handings, which leaves such a big space to the artist’s fantasy and desire of experimentation.
