This aquatint engraving is also part of a cycle of works from 1968. The reference is to the work on canvas "Romantic Landscape" also from 1968. Here there are some suggestions between Pop and Baroque - one of the author's youthful passions - that Andrea Granchi recorded on the occasion of a visit to Rome in the visionary church of S. Maria del Popolo, an architecture rich in works and stimuli for the author.
